Position Overview

As the Talent and Culture Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our school’s work environment, talent acquisition, development, and retention efforts. You will work closely with the school leadership team to cultivate a positive and engaging culture that aligns with our educational philosophy and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract, hire, and onboard exceptional educators who share our Montessori principles and educational vision.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify professional development opportunities and design training programs that support the growth and continuous improvement of our educators.
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, morale, and overall job satisfaction.
  • Implement performance management processes, including regular feedback sessions, evaluations, and goal setting.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing any concerns or conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that our school remains a welcoming space for all individuals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent management and culture development.
  • Coordinate and ensure Health and Safety at work
  • Lead the Data Protection Law at work.
  • Coordination with and support to the Administratiation Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience in talent management, culture development, and employee relations, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of Montessori education principles and their alignment with creating a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools for recruitment, performance management, and reporting.
  • Spanish and English: bilingual (C1 or higher).

Admissions Officer

Description

Imagine Montessori School, located in Valencia, is a unique and innovative school with a tireless focus on nurturing talents for a better world. Our main focus is to identify and promote the talents each child is born with and developing children’s eagerness to learn and develop their entrepreneurial mindset and social-emotional skills.

The Community Care and Admissions Lead is a valuable member and a key role in our team. He/She will be the energy and smile of our families, helping Imagine Montessori School grow and care for its community. He/she will communicate and advocate, internally and externally, our mission and values, enriching families’ lives with events, experiences and tender relationships.

Key goals

  • Admissions: lead the admissions experience for prospective families and children.
  • Administration: support to the School Operations and Enrichment Manager.

Main responsibilities

  • Periodically update short and long-term admissions goals as well as creating and executing an action plan to cope with it.
  • Effectively communicate school educational philosophy; develop and maintain Lead Management systems (CRM); develop and maintain contact with these referral sources; and respond to email and telephone inquiries.
  • Coordinate tours for prospective families, and other visitors; communicate with School Director, Academic Coordinators, Secretaries, and other team members to coordinate Open Doors, family tours and interviews, prospective children’s visits to school and special events for prospects, new families and our school community.
  • Complete, review, and obtain admissions documentation accurately and completely in accordance with school policies and procedures; oversee, monitor and expedite the admissions process with Academic Coordinators, Lead Teachers and Secretaries (group portraits, email announcement, database, etc).
  • Assess data analytically and make recommendations to improve the community experience and their satisfaction.
  • Perform special assignments, projects, and other administrative duties as required.
  • Support to the Enrichment Program Manager with the coordination of this program.

Candidate is expected to be enthusiastic, warm, creative, caring, positive and poised, with ability to work as part of a dynamic team. Native or fluent in English, the candidate should also be committed to María Montessori principles.

Requirements for this role:

  • Montessori guide certification
  • 1-2 years’ experience as Montessori guide

Candidate is expected to be assertive, warm, positive and organized. The candidate will also bring a passion for education and a creative approach to achieve our School‘s vision.

Requirements for this role:

  • Possess Upper and/or Lower Elementary Certification in Montessori Education;
  • Bachelor of Education (BoEd), Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE), Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP), “Magisterio” or UK Level 6 equivalent;
  • Have +2 years’ experience teaching in Elementary Montessori environments;
  • Ability to work with students of various abilities, including those with various identified exceptionalities;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
  • Native English speaker;
  • Submit necessary documents for a completed personnel file, including motivation letter, CV and two references.

Secondary Guide (Ages from 12 to 18)

Imagine Montessori School, located in Valencia is looking for experienced KS3 and KS4 teachers for iGCSE and A-Levels to join in September 2023.

Imagine is a reference Montessori School in Spain, successfully delivering the British National Curriculum from 20 months to 18 years old. In its 7 years history, the School has been consistently rated as good or outstanding, blending the British Curriculum with the Montessori pedagogy. With +250 students up to Y9 during the current 2022/2023 school year, the school continues its organic growth yearly basis.

Native English speaker, the candidate is expected to be assertive, positive and organized. The candidate will also bring a passion for education and a creative and practical approach to his/her lessons.

Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); Current/ recent experience of teaching KS3 and KS4. Successful record of planning and delivering engaging learning activities; Knowledge of the British Curriculum and iGCSE exams.

Music Specialist

Imagine Montessori School, located in Valencia, is looking to hire a Music specialist (4 to 16 years old). The candidate is expected to be assertive, warm, positive and organized. The candidate will also bring a passion for education and a creative approach to achieving our School‘s vision.

Requirements for this role:

  • Plan and execution of a balanced music program.
  • Encourage students to develop individual musical skills to the greatest extent possible.
  • Utilizes repertoire of all types of music literature that are appropriate for the ages and skill levels of pupils.
  • Plan, prepare and support all the necessary tasks related to the Winter and Summer shows. Weekly hours might be extended during the weeks before each event.
  • It is expected that this role to be further developed within the future school growth.

Music Teacher is also required to possess personal and professional skills including:

  •  Native or fluent English speaker.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience teaching music to children from 4 to 16 years old.
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education (QTS in Music).
  • Ability to lead and manage school-based projects or developments.
  • Ability to use IT as part of the British national curriculum
