Infant Community Guide (20 months to 3 y.o.)

Imagine Montessori School, located in Valencia, is looking to hire a certified Montessori Guide for a Infant community class (0 to 3 years old). Candidate is expected to be enthusiastic, warm, creative, caring, positive and poised, with ability to work as part of a dynamic team. Native or fluent in English, the candidate should also be committed to María Montessori principles.

Requirements for this role:

  • Montessori guide certification
  • 1-2 years’ experience as Montessori guide
  • Bachelor in Education (Bachelor of Education (BoEd), Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE), Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP), “Magisterio” or UK Level 4 to 6 equivalent)
  • Be fluent in English
  • Be a EU-citizen or have a valid work-permit

Imagine Montessori School is a growing school with the vision of spreading Montessori methodology through a relevant number of children by contributing to their natural deployment, involving families and the community into this process. English is the primary language of the School (Certified by British Council) with students ranging from 2 to 18-year-old. We already have a wonderful team of Montessori Children’s House and Lower Elementary guides.

Children's House Guide (Ages from 3 to 6)

Imagine Montessori School, located in Valencia, is looking to hire a certified Montessori Guide for a Children House class (3 to 6 years old). Candidate is expected to be enthusiastic, warm, creative, caring, positive and poised, with ability to work as part of a dynamic team. Native or fluent in English, the candidate should also be committed to María Montessori principles.

Primary Guide (Ages from 6 to 12)

Imagine Montessori School, located in Valencia, is looking to hire a certified Montessori Guide for Elementary class (6 to 9 or 9 to 12 years old). Candidate is expected to be assertive, warm, positive and organized. The candidate will also bring a passion for education and a creative approach to achieve our School‘s vision.

Requirements for this role:

  • Possess Upper and/or Lower Elementary Certification in Montessori Education;
  • Bachelor of Education (BoEd), Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE), Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP), “Magisterio” or UK Level 6 equivalent;
  • Have +2 years’ experience teaching in Elementary Montessori environments;
  • Ability to work with students of various abilities, including those with various identified exceptionalities;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
  • Native English speaker;
  • Submit necessary documents for a completed personnel file, including motivation letter, CV and two references.

Desirable for this role:

  • Experience in Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Qualified Teacher Status

Secondary Guide (Ages from 12 to 18)

Imagine Montessori School, located in Valencia is looking for KS3 teacher with focus on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to join along the first semester of 2021.

Imagine is a reference Montessori School in Spain, successfully delivering the British National Curriculum from 20 months to 18 years old. In its 5 years history the School has been consistently rated as good or outstanding, blending the British Curriculum with the Montessori pedagogy. With +210 students up to Y7 during the current 2020/2021 school-year, the school continues its organic growth yearly basis.

Native English speaker, the candidate is expected to be assertive, positive and organized. The candidate will also bring passion for education and a creative and practical approach on his/her lessons.

Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); Current/ recent experience of teaching KS3. Successful record of planning and delivering engaging learning activities; Knowledge of the British Curriculum.

Community Care and Admissions Lead

Imagine Montessori School, located in Valencia, is a unique and innovative school with a tireless focus on nurturing talents for a better world. Our main focus is to identify and promote the talents each child is born with and developing children’s eagerness to learn and develop their entrepreneurial mindset and social-emotional skills.

The Community Care and Admissions Lead is a valuable member and a key role in our team. He/She will be the energy and smile of our families, helping Imagine Montessori School grow and care for its community. He/she will communicate and advocate, internally and externally, our mission and values, enriching families’ lives with events, experiences and tender relationships.

Key goals

  • Community building: Generate, in coordination with our pedagogical team, initiatives to promote our philosophy among internal and external families.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate pedagogical and community initiatives on a weekly basis in social media.
  • Admissions: lead the admissions experience for families and children.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop innovative communication strategies and enrolment plans in coordination with senior management to attract and enrol new students.
  • Periodically update short and long-term admissions goals as well as creating and executing an action plan to cope with it.
  • Effectively communicate school educational philosophy; develop and maintain Lead Management systems (CRM); develop and maintain contact with these referral sources; and respond to email and telephone inquiries.
  • Conduct tours on a flexible schedule for prospective families, and other visitors; communicate with School Director, Academic Coordinators, Secretaries, and other team members to coordinate Open Doors, family tours and interviews, prospective children’s visits to school and special events for prospects, new families and our school community.
  • Complete, review, and obtain admissions documentation accurately and completely in accordance with school policies and procedures; oversee, monitor and expedite the admissions process with Academic Coordinators, Lead Teachers and Secretaries (group portraits, email announcement, database, etc).
  • Assess data and make recommendations to improve the community experience and their satisfaction.
  • Develop and facilitate relationships within our community to assist in supporting our programs and services as well as guarantee student and families’ satisfaction.
  • Cultivate our Social Media channels with enriching contents that inspire the readers and promote a more conscious education.
  • Perform special assignments, projects, and other administrative duties as required.

Our ideal candidate’s skills:

  • High proficiency in speaking, understanding and creating communication materials in English and Spanish as well as be able to communicate fluently with families, prospects and internal stakeholders;
  • Passion for conscious education (Montessori would be a plus), communication and social media. Passion and experience in the area of marketing and photography would be a plus too.
  • Vitality, joviality and a shimmering smile is surely what we are visualizing;
  • Strong sense of diplomacy and demonstrated success in developing strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Eagerness to think out of the box and run the extra mile to create wonderful experiences for our families and community;

  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines by maintaining a high level of organization;
  • Experience with data analysis, interpretation, and reporting related to admissions and customer satisfaction.
