My name is Naira and I am from the Canary Islands (Spain). I have always been interested in communication and in the way we connect and interact with others, which is why I decided to study Speech and Language Therapy, with the aim of helping improve the communication and quality of life of people who experience difficulties in this area. After working in this field, I realised that I wanted to take my career in a direction more closely related to children. This interest, together with my experiences as an au pair, led me to study Primary Education.
During my studies, I had the opportunity to experience different educational environments in several countries, especially in Ireland, where I spent many years. These experiences enriched me both personally and professionally and allowed me to discover different approaches to education, inspiring me to become the teacher I am today.
Outside of education, I am passionate about movement and sport. This has led me to explore and practise different aerial arts, and especially dance, which holds a very special place in my life. Having grown up on a small but very beautiful and green island, I have always loved nature and animals, two things I find essential for switching off, learning and continuing to grow.
