My name is Áine, I´m originally from Ireland but Valencia has been my “home away from home” for the last ten years! After stuidying my degree in English Literature in the Univeristy of Limerick, I went on to complete my MA in English Language Teaching. I gained invaluable experience working in Ireland teaching the English language to young refugees from Sudan, as well as teaching English for Engineering to university students from Oman and Saudi Arabia. I began teaching literature at secondary school when I came to Valencia and thankfully found opportunites where I could merge my passion for teaching literature with studies of the language itself through the British educational system and Cambridge exams. I enjoy writing poetry, the great outdoors, rainy days, learning something new everyday and my motto in life is “live and let live”. I welcome this new opportunity at Imagine with open arms. I look foward to forming part of the team here, as well as further enriching both my personal and professional development.
