School Facilities - Imagine Montesori School

Spaces that nurture learning

At Imagine Montessori School, we believe that the physical environment is a fundamental part of the educational process. That’s why we take great care in designing every space to respond to the real needs of children and young people at each stage of their development.

Our facilities are designed to offer students an environment that fosters concentration, exploration, and connection with nature. From intentionally prepared indoor environments to outdoor spaces, every corner of the school invites children to learn, connect, and grow with freedom.

On this page, you’ll find an overview of the spaces that make up our school — places that inspire, that welcome, and that reflect our approach to education.

A vibrant environment in harmony with nature

Every space at Imagine Montessori School is conceived as an ally in the educational process. Beyond its practical function, each environment reflects our vision: an education that respects individual rhythms, promotes autonomy, and nurtures connection — with oneself, with others, and with the surrounding world.

Early Years and Primary Spaces

Early Years Outdoor Playground

Our outdoor playground is purposefully designed to support free play, physical movement, sensory exploration, and social interaction—all core principles of the Montessori approach.

Children enjoy dedicated areas where they can run, jump, and climb on a child-friendly climbing wall, as well as calm corners for reading, observing, or simply relaxing with friends. The playground also features sensory zones, imaginative play areas, and fine motor activities tailored to different age groups.

This natural outdoor environment encourages active learning and supports each child’s autonomy, creativity, and emotional well-being through daily contact with nature.

The Forest: A Woodland Within the School

A natural outdoor setting where children observe, explore, and connect with the environment. Activities in the forest integrate the curriculum with nature, promoting independence, resilience, and environmental awareness.

Our Secondary and Sixth Form Spaces

Science Laboratory

A space designed for experimentation, observation, and learning, grounded in strong theoretical foundations. The laboratory nurtures students’ interest in physics, chemistry, and biology, while also encouraging wonder and curiosity.

Our Sports Facilities

Heated Swimming Pool

A space to develop water skills as part of the curriculum for students aged 6 to 14. From an early age, children enjoy moving in the water and build confidence and a sense of safety, before progressing towards mastering different swimming techniques.

Football Pitch

Two full-size football pitches, adaptable for 8-a-side matches. These are spaces to enjoy team sports while embracing the values of respect and fair play.

Indoor Sports Hall

A covered space for team sports such as handball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and indoor football. Physical education supports social development, encouraging teamwork and shared effort.

Outdoor Basketball Court

An outdoor court for students to practise basketball and experience the joy of playing together.

A School Designed for Lasting Experiences

At Imagine Montessori School, every space is designed to support the educational journey. Beyond their functional use, our environments reflect our vision: education that respects each child’s individual rhythm, encourages independence, and nurtures meaningful connections—with oneself, with others, and with the world around us.
