A vibrant environment in harmony with nature
Every space at Imagine Montessori School is conceived as an ally in the educational process. Beyond its practical function, each environment reflects our vision: an education that respects individual rhythms, promotes autonomy, and nurtures connection — with oneself, with others, and with the surrounding world.
Early Years and Primary Spaces
Montessori Environments
At Imagine Montessori School, a British Montessori school in Valencia, each classroom is thoughtfully designed to promote concentration, independence, and personalised learning. With over 100 m² of open, light-filled space, every environment is carefully prepared to support the developmental needs of each age group.
Entry to the classroom is through a vestibule with lockers and benches, where children get ready to enter a space designed at their scale. Each classroom is organised into five distinct learning areas: Sensorial, Practical Life, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies.
All classrooms open onto a private outdoor terrace facing the pine forest, allowing learning to continue in nature whenever the weather permits. This connection with the natural environment is a fundamental part of the Montessori approach.
Early Years Outdoor Playground
Our outdoor playground is purposefully designed to support free play, physical movement, sensory exploration, and social interaction—all core principles of the Montessori approach.
Children enjoy dedicated areas where they can run, jump, and climb on a child-friendly climbing wall, as well as calm corners for reading, observing, or simply relaxing with friends. The playground also features sensory zones, imaginative play areas, and fine motor activities tailored to different age groups.
This natural outdoor environment encourages active learning and supports each child’s autonomy, creativity, and emotional well-being through daily contact with nature.
The Forest: A Woodland Within the School
A natural outdoor setting where children observe, explore, and connect with the environment. Activities in the forest integrate the curriculum with nature, promoting independence, resilience, and environmental awareness.
Art Studio
Montessori education helps children see the arts as an integral part of the physical world, where artistic activities become a vital form of self-expression.
At Imagine Montessori School in Valencia, our students enjoy a unique art space nestled in nature—an inspiring setting that nurtures creativity, imagination, and personal growth. This natural environment allows children to engage with the arts in a meaningful and joyful way, fully aligned with our British Montessori approach.
Performing Arts: Music and Expression
A dedicated space to experience the performing arts—music, theatre, and dance—as part of a broader artistic journey. Rhythm, voice, body, and emotion are naturally integrated. Expression becomes a powerful tool for communication and collaboration.
Our Secondary and Sixth Form Spaces

Currently under construction, these new facilities are tailored to the needs of each educational stage. They include spacious classrooms with natural light, social areas, science labs, an art studio, music room, library (Learning Resource Centre) for group or independent study, a Makers Lab, multimedia room, dining hall/cafeteria, and outdoor areas integrated with the natural surroundings.
La Pinada Lab
A collaborative space that brings together Zubi Labs’ venture builder companies and the educational environment, offering students aged 16 to 18 their first experiences in a professional setting.
During the 2025/2026 academic year, this space will host our Secondary and Sixth Form students.
Art Studio
A space for free expression, exploration of different materials, and creative development through emotion and beauty. Each student creates from within, surrounded by the pine forest that defines our environment.
Performing Arts: Music and Expression
An inspiring environment where music, theatre, and dance are experienced as an integrated artistic process. Rhythm, movement, and voice combine naturally to foster self-expression and teamwork.
Science Laboratory
A space designed for experimentation, observation, and learning, grounded in strong theoretical foundations. The laboratory nurtures students’ interest in physics, chemistry, and biology, while also encouraging wonder and curiosity.
Our Sports Facilities

A covered space for team sports such as handball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and indoor football. Physical education supports social development, encouraging teamwork and shared effort.
